A year ago a Perth woman decided to collect sanitary items and underwear for homeless women in Perth and WA. She was surprised when it went viral and they were inundated with donations. It’s on again this October! Read on for Lenny’s story and to find out how you can help.
The Ruah Centre is a homeless drop-in centre in Northbridge, Perth. It has been operating for more than 50 years and provides much needed services to those who are doing it tough. People can drop in for information, a shower, a bite to eat, a Drs appointment, or just a refuge from the streets.
Access to sanitary products is something most women take for granted. But for women who are less fortunate it is often overlooked. That’s why an amazing local lady has started a campaign to gather donations for women in need, and it’s become more popular than she could have ever imagined.
Music makes people smile and it brings people together. Catch Music is an organisation which does just that. All skill levels and backgrounds are welcome as people get together each week at 9 sessions across Perth to play music and have fun in an inclusive environment. Everyone is welcome.
