On Wednesday night the 15th of June 2016, Perth held a vigil to honour the people who were shot in Orlando over the weekend. Our photo album below captures the beauty of the community in light of the senseless tragedy of this heartbreaking event.
The launch of PrideFEST 2015 on Friday night the 6th of November was a fabulous night. It was at the cultural centre and saw patrons party the night away with food, drinks, music and colour to kick off the wonderful Pride festival 2015. Check out our pics here, you may see someone you know!
Friday the 31st of July 2015 was exactly 1 year, to the day, that this rainbow dream became a cyberspace reality. We celebrated with drinks, friends, supporters, contributors, nibbles and cupcakes. Check out all the pics here, you might even see someone you know. It is Perth after all. 🙂

Perth has recently been visited by Giants and Sculptures. The latest large pieces of art to grace our shores are huge, inflatable, illuminated rabbits. It’s all part of the South Perth Fiesta and is on every night this week. Get down to the foreshore to say hello to “Intrude” an art installation by Amanda Parer.
The opening act for the PIAF festival was breathtaking on a giant scale. 1.4 million people flocked to the city streets to witness the magical journey of the Giants. The Giants, who are a creation of French company Royal De Luxe, graced our city for a weekend of awe inspiring, childlike wonder.
It’s really fantastic how much the people of Perth are embracing the Arts and in particular the Fringe Festival. We took some pics of patrons last Friday night, the 30th of January, in the Urban Orchard and at Noodle Palace. Have a look through, you may see yourself or your friends…
The Fringe Festival for 2015 is well underway and it is bigger and better than ever before. We took some pics around the Pleasure Garden, Urban Orchard and Rooftop Movies. FringeWorld is on until the 22nd of February so there is still plenty of time to get out and experience this yourself.
Saturday the 15th of November was the Beaufort Street Festival. A festival of food, drinks, music, fashion, art, craft and local wares. The festival is in its 4th year and it keeps getting bigger, the estimated crowds for this year were 150 000. Have a look at our pics here. You may even see yourself in the crowd shots!
As part of the Perth Comedy Festival ‘The Famous Sharron’ teamed up with renowned chef Sophie Budd of Taste Budds cooking school to present several nights of cooking, comedy and dinner for the lucky audiences.
The Comedy Festival this year starred local and international talent who made people laugh at many venues around Perth. The retro Mount Lawley Bowling Club played host to many of the comedians this year.
